Manage portfolios consisting of National, Regional & Local Servicer/Customer Accounts.
• Reconciliation - MBS and AA Security Balance Call-in Cycles
Analyze and assist lenders during MBS Security Balance and AA Call-in Cycles in resolving reporting errors such as:
- pass-through-rate out of tolerance
- pool deficiencies (over collateralization/under collateralization)
- pools being paid-in-full
- highest pay down
- missing pools
- too low/high balance and
- insufficient unscheduled principal
• Reporting
Gather information from Mainframe and Web-based systems to prepare reports for Management team.
Educate Customers on how to retrieve reports from for portfolio reconciliation. This includes reporting loans and making corrections (edits) to resolve Errors.
• Remittances:
Correspond with Customers to provide root cause explanation for shortage/surplus remittance occurrences
• Loan Activity Reporting & Loan Liquidations
Assist servicers to ensure correct loan activity reporting, especially with loan liquidations.
• Validate servicers' requests for principal, interest & term along with unpaid principal balance, principal and interest payments
• Research and analyze data from the lenders and prepare purchase adjustment documents appropriately for loans.
• Data Rejects
Examine, analyze, and identify the root cause for financial data rejects, and make pertinent corrections.
• Reconcile shortage/surplus for loans by retrieving payment history from various systems. Prepare summary of applicable shortage/surplus for comparison with lenders' data and prepare purchase adjustment.
• Extract data for loans from in-house systems to resolve modification discrepancies.
•Pool Level Corrections
Research and analyze data against Promissory Notes, process pool change requests and prepare backup documents.
• Management Reports
Retrieve and report various management reports and provides comments on monthly basis.
• Prepare ad hoc reports when requested by manager or lenders.
• Prepare and provide monthly Servicer Performance reports
